Amber Ray Anderson is Washington resident who was born & raised in the niche area bordering the Columbia River Gorge to the south, Pacific Ocean to the west, I-5 to the east, & expansive forest all around. Anderson combines art & science performing art restoration in Seattle, holding a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts earned in 2002 & an Organic Chemistry Certificate of Completion from North Seattle Community College earned in 2008. During the economic crash in 2009 Anderson embarked in business of private art conservation practice under Array Art Conservation, LLC, which she is still operating a decade later. Her passion for traversing global terrain is evidenced in artwork melting photographic documentation into encaustic wax paintings she creates, reflecting global environmental economic landscape. Most recently, Anderson's artwork was featured for her sketchbook practice in “Sketchbook Porn”- a periodic online article in the recently defunct City Arts Magazine.
