“Confessions is a daily practice started on July 22nd of 2017. In an attempt to analyze my own intimacies and connections, I make a documentative collage every day. These ritualistic works from the past year combine imagery and text pulled from my conversations, thoughts, and interactions with my relationships. With the challenge of vulnerability and honesty in mind, I publicize the ups and downs of my interactions.” Madison studied Printmaking at Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) in pursuit of her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree which she obtained in May of 2016. Themes in her work vary, though often include those of domesticity, intimacy, constructed comfort, and the impact these constructs have on individuals and their relationships.
