"My sculpture captures my heart and expression from what many call the Spirit worlds. We all have the feelings, opinions and visions of what our unique and shared experiences are from this place. Historical myth and legend are a big influence for my imagery, but so are the modern fields of physics and medicine."

Her current work is formed in porcelain, wood, copper. china painting and archival paints and sealants. These mediums allow for narrative pieces with the stark simplicity of black and white. Playing with the idea of our seen and unseen worlds, the encased sculptures are dreamlike and reminiscent of old fairy tales.

Having made art in Olympia and the surrounding area for over 30 years Loralin has participated in many exhibits and art walks in Olympia and Tacoma. Though exhibiting more extensively locally, she received training at the Academy of Art for Illustration & sculpture in California.
